The Sarah Millican Television Programme

Filmed in front of a live audience, this series features stand-up monologues from award-winning comedian Sarah Millican, inspired by what she has seen on television. She also chats with the people she loves to watch on screen, with an interview technique that is all her own. Taking a fun look at the television shows she adores, Sarah introduces her audience to her personal favourite (if somewhat unlikely) genre combinations; Property & Fashion, Food & Survival, Sports & Entertainment, Drama & Weather, Crime & Medical and Dating & Wildlife. Joining Sarah, during the series, to talk about their fields of screen expertise, are a number of TV practitioners: wildlife authority Chris Packham, ‘sexpert’ Tracey Cox, property guru Sarah Beeny, fashionista Julien MacDonald, economic soothsayer Robert Peston, medicine woman Pixie McKenna, and crime sleuth Rav Wilding. Also appearing are: baker extraordinaire Paul Hollywood, adventurer Charlie Boorman, TV Sommelier Olly Smith, sports commentator Clare Balding, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, dancer Louie Spence, thespian Simon Callow, meteorologist John Kettley and leading lady Phyllis Logan.
