Kouichi Haimawari always dreamed of being a hero, but with a seemingly unimpressive Quirk that lets him glide across surfaces, his aspirations never took flight. Instead, he settles for small acts of kindness—helping strangers, returning lost items—until a chance encounter changes everything.

When a brutal alley fight nearly overwhelms him, he’s saved by Knuckleduster, a rough-and-tumble “Vigilante” who operates outside the law. Seeing untapped potential in Kouichi, Knuckleduster recruits him for a dangerous mission: stopping the spread of Trigger, a drug that amplifies Quirks at the cost of human control.

Set before the events of the original story, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes follows Kouichi as he steps into the shadows—not as a recognized hero, but as an outlaw fighting to keep crime from rising to the surface.
