In the seventh season finale of Supernatural, Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), Castiel or “Cass” (Misha Collins), and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) were able to vanquish the leader of the leviathans, Dick Roman (James Patrick Steward) and bring an end to the sinister plot of having the human race as their infinite and fattened meals. With the divine guidance of their new prophet, Kevin Tran (Osric Chau), who has the ability to read the tablets or “the words of God”, the group found a way to dispose of this vile race of monsters off the face of the planet; however, in true “Supernatural”-taste, the ending left many of its fans dangling and hungry for the eighth season to explain what happens next. Priviouly on Supernatural, Dean re-emerges from Purgatory, but he isn’t alone. He heads straight for Sam, but the reunion isn’t exactly what he thought it would be. Dean and Sam look for Kevin, who has managed to escape Crowley’s grasp, but things come to a head quickly when Kevin tells them what it is that Crowley wants.
