Episode summary:

A murder is accidentally committed on the set of a telenovela when someone replaced a collapsible prop knife with a real one. As usual, Lassiter considers the case closed. After the star (Matt Cedeno) and head writer (Saul Rubinek) are arrested, Shawn sets out to find the real murderer, and, in the meantime, gain a role on the show.
