At the beginning of the episode model ALLISON is outThe designers meet with Heidi at Banana Republic studios where they find out what the new challenge is: design a holiday dress that fits in with Banana Republic's current collection in one of the two themes. 1)"my grandmother's attic" in soft pinks and yellows, and 2)"Art Deco," in black, white and silver. Tim arrives to “up the ante” when he announces that the winning design will be sold online and in select stores nationwide, as part of Banana Republic's winter line. Jay takes inspiration from a photo of the Chrysler building, while Austin goes with the flowery soft dress. The morning before the runway, Kara tries to help Wendy reverse her fortunes with a home makeover. You're either in, or you're out, who was out this week? Starr is Out.
