Episode summary:

Meme Oshino has given Koyomi Araragi the task of heading to an abandoned temple on top of a mountain on the outskirts of town, and placing a talisman on the main shrine. Koyomi invites Suruga Kanbaru to accompany him, and the two are on their way up the deserted mountain path towards the shrine, when they pass a young girl running down, her hat pulled low over her head.
