Episode summary:

Action from the opening Premier League matches, including Hull City v Manchester United at MKM Stadium and Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur at Gtech Community Stadium. Hull won last season's play-offs to secure top-flight football for the first time since the 2014/15 campaign, but faced a tough test against last term's third-placed finishers. Spurs have strengthened their squad after finishing just one place above the relegation sports in 2025/26 and took on a Brentford side with two successive top-half finishes to their name.
