Coverage of the Group E match from Frankfurt Arena, as both sides conclude their round-robin fixtures. Slovakia are playing at their third consecutive European Championship finals and are looking to improve on Euro 2021, when they failed to make it past this stage. They will need some of their more experienced players to inspire them to reach the last 16, including the likes of Peter Pekarik, Juraj Kucka and Robert Mak, who have over 300 international caps between them. Their opponents don't possess the same level of experience in their ranks, with only captain Nicolae Stanciu and midfielder Razvan Marin appearing for their country more than 50 times, but they do have the better record in matches between the nations. With four of the third-placed teams progressing to the knockout stage, along with the group winners and runners-up, even defeats from their opening two matches would see either nation still in with a chance of progressing.
