Episode summary:

After condemning the women captured at Akelarre to the stake, de Lancre sends the guard to settle in the houses of the village to watch over each inhabitant. Cariel begins his scientific experiments on the female prisoners. Despite the risk, Jeannette attempts to free the imprisoned women, and brews a deadly potion for the judge.
