Episode summary:

In 1965, the hunt for a missing schoolgirl ends up drawing Endeavour Morse back to the place which will shape his destiny, Oxford. The investigation is headed by Detective Inspector Fred Thursday, Endeavour ends up finds himself side-lined, discredited and at a dead end. He is forced to face some demons from his past, as he starts his own quest for justice in a search for the truth which will haunt him for the rest of his life.
