Episode summary:

Today is a day like no other at Broadhill retirement home. Derek is watching Dougie as he attempts to repair a table’s wobbly leg as he discovers a baby bird that’s fallen from a tree. Derek is desperate to save bird’s life and rushes inside to announce the emergency and ask Hannah to call Rolf Harris or Bill Oddie. Derek and some of the residents also attend a jumble sale and it is also date night for Tom and Hannah, but she’s forgotten about it.
