While hunting, Vanhecke finds a half-buried bride in the woods. Since this is a murder case, Chantal, D'Haese and the Sheriff get reinforcements from the Federal Police. They are very quickly able to catch a suspect, who also confesses, but Chantal would not be Chantal if she were to just settle for this. She starts her own investigation behind the back of the Federal Police...
