Fresh from his surprise appearance during the World Cup Final half-time show, Gustavo Dudamel leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic in its first Proms appearance for more than two decades. Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, hailed by Wagner as 'the apotheosis of the dance', is paired with Gabriela Ortiz's Revolucion diamantina, a score inspired by Mexico's 2019 'glitter revolution'.
